Who's Who in N.O.A.H.?
Kristine CassadyFounder, President, and Administrative Director N.O.A.H. was "born" on a warm summer afternoon in 2007 when Kristine mentioned the need for children's resources to Noahide Nation's founder, Ray Petterson. Ray agreed "but no one has stepped up to do anything about it yet," he told her. Kristine realized that if her own homeschooled children needed Noahide materials other children needed them, too; so with Ray's blessing and a list of other Noahide families to contact, she started putting together what is now known as N.O.A.H.: Noahide Online Association of Homeschoolers. Kristine is a homeschooling mommy to 11 y/o Kaela, 8 y/o Parker, 5 y/o Patrick, 2 y/o Kennath, and, the newest addition, 2 m/o Pierson. With support from her husband, Pat, Kristine has been active in promoting homeschooling and leading various homeschool groups over the past 7 1/2 years. The Cassady family embraces the "Thomas Jefferson/ Leadership" model of education as-well-as various aspects of the Charlotte Mason method. She finds great satisfaction in discussing educational philosophies, so if you have questions regarding homeschooling do not hesitate to ask! Like many, their spiritual quest for truth led the Cassady family through modern protestant Christianity and Messianic worship; continuous study and HaShem's mercy brought themt o the place they are now, embracing HaShem's laws for the Children of Noah as stated in the Torah and leaning solely upon the TaNaCh and Oral tradition for instruction. The Cassady family is now committed to studying, following, and teaching the 7 Noahide laws as Torah observant Gentiles. |
![]() | Elisa Jay Co-Founder, Vice- President, and Educational Director Elisa is the mom of Kiera, age 11, and Zach, age 8. Their family has homeschooled from the beginning, and Elisa has had the opportunity to teach in district-sponsored co-ops for the last seven years in addition to working one-on-one with her own children. Her focus is on effective teaching methods geared toward the student’s specific learning style. This usually means she gets to piece together units of study from many different curriculums and create her own lesson plans! She welcomes the opportunity to integrate different subjects and provide relevancy for the students. Elisa’s approach in education is that you should prepare the child for the path, not the path for the child. Elisa has been a Noahide for over ten years; she and her husband have been raising their children as Noahides since birth. She recognizes the significance of the fact that it has been thousands of years since children have been raised as Noahides and feels strongly about helping others succeed in this endeavor so that future generations will continue on this path. Elisa is always on the look-out for new ideas and suggestions on any and all of her projects. In addition to creating a Torah curriculum for Noahide children, she is in the (very long) process of developing a non-biased Ancient History and Science curriculum utilizing the work of Noahide and Jewish scholars along with and resources for Noahide students. |
